Cognitive Behavioural therapy is a brief therapy. CBT is proven to treat a number of conditions including anxiety and depression. Treatment sessions run for approximately 1 hour on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. 6 to 12 sessions may be required.
Dialectical behavioural therapy teaches emotion regulatory skills to those who experience extreme emotions in their lives. This therapy can be delivered in a group or individual setting. Sessions last for up to one hour.
